Boys to Men New England is presenting its second annual benefit event at
Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.
The evening will feature a wide variety of voices—musical and spoken—including headliners and
“ordinary people” alike.
World-reknowned jazz singer Rebecca Parris, will be one of the headliners as well as a keynote speaker, along with award-winning
barbershop groups Sounds of Concord (adult voices) and G20 (teen voices), Rhode Island-based father-son duo Jesse and Jack Gauthier,
and the red hot New Hampshire-based Kid Jazz Band.
The centerpiece of the evening will be a film clip featuring teens and mentors from the Boys to Men program, as we celebrate our 5th anniversary
empowering boys in New England.
We hope you will make every effort to attend the concert, and spread the word to your family, friends and community.
General admission tickets are $75. You can also purchase/ donate a ticket that sponsors a teen to attend.
BTMNE J-men and mentors can purchase $50 tickets.
The event will run from 5–7:30 pm at Scullers Jazz Club, 400 Soldiers Field Road, Boston, MA 02134.
All funds raised will advance the work of Boys to Men New England, an all-volunteer operated, non-profit organization.

World Renowned Jazz Singer Rebecca Parris Rebecca is a world class singer and teacher who deeply knows and exemplifies "the Power of Voice."
Rebecca has performed all over the world with her own groups and some of jazz's greatest legends, including Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Terry Gibbs,
David "Fathead" Newman, Norman Simmons. Harold Jones, and many others.
Rebecca's passion for teaching is not only a labor of love, it is about love; love for
words, for soul, for conversation and communication with an audience. Like few other teachers, Rebecca is a master at helping a singer find their voice,
craft their personal interpretation of any song and deliver their with intent and emotional finesse.
The Kid Jazz Band This five piece family band performs Swing Jazz from the 30's and 40's and more with finesse and vitality.
Your feet won't stop tapping and your heart won't stop smiling when you hear them play! Recently featured on WMUR TV's NH Chronicle, band members are Adam on
bass, Jacob on drums, Michael on clarinet, Tom (Dad) on vocals and guitar, and Mary (mom) on vocals and ukele.
Barbershop Group Sounds of Concord The Sounds of Concord, entertaining audiences for over 40 years, is one of New England's top-ranked male vocal
ensembles. The group sings primarily in the barbershop style, combining four-part close harmony with rich melodic sound and lots of emotion. Sounds of
Concord became the 2012 Northeastern District Chorus Champions Barbershop singing provides an experience of music and mentorship. Sounds of Concord
offers itself as a resource to high school music departments.
Teen Barbershop Group G20 Hailing from Fall River, New Bedford, Somerset, Swansea and Providence Middle and High Schools, and led by mentors Chris
Benevides, Diogo Ventura and Diego Fortune, G20 wowed the audience at last year's "Voices of Boys and Men" Benefit Concert, and are back to offer their
beautiful and powerful voices. G20 achieved 2nd place at the 2012 Northeastern District Championships.
Father-Son Duo Jesse and Jack Gauthier Father-Son Duo Jesse and Jack Gauthier Jesse is a 22-year old Rhode Island College student who has been singing
all of his life. His father Jack is a Grammy-nominated recording engineer, former producer of Dispatch and manager of blue legend Duke Robillard. Their signature
family-harmony sound will touch your heart.
